I changed the transmission last fall, and now it seems like the the bike is very hard to roll off the center stand.
do the spacers on the center stand go between the stand & engine, or on the ground side of stand?
I also know that it is not my age that is a factor(60).
I also just got finished putting in a vacumm operated cruise control, replacing the electric one that i installed 10 years ago. The new one is 100 times better than the old.
I would highly recommend it. |

The spacers go between the mount and the trany. They'd just serve as thick washers the other way.
I posted some tips on centerstand usage near the bottom of this page:

Gold dust,
Three things can cause an LT to resist going onto or coming off the center stand; a smaller than standard rear tire, a short shock and no grease in the zerk fittings on the stand.
Good luck,

I'll add a fourth - having had personal experience - a larger than standard front tire. _________________ Jim
