93 LT. Has anyone found a use for the four false switches next to the map light? Or are they false? I'm still finding new things on my new (to me) toy. _________________ Current Bikes

Mine are all filled.
#1) Power to the radar detector hidden in my fairing.
#2) Power to my LED aux side lamps
#3) Green flashing LED - I shorted my sidestand switch and then wired it up to set off the falshing LED if the sidestand is down.
#4) 3 way switch to control my driving and fog lights. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks. Are they actual unused switches, or just fake placeholders? _________________ Current Bikes

They're just switch blanks - they'll pop right out. They look like the two in the right side of this picture: (Ones on the left are from a K75S)

I screwed my Sat Nav mount to them, so as not to leave holes in the fascia.
Future uses:-
Rocket Launcher.
Smoke Screen.
Oil slick.
Flamethrower. _________________ Regards Tim,

Hey Duck,
Did you use genuine replacements, or others, please let me know, or in your case a Picture would be good.
Cheers

Lou - I used one of them for the Motolights. I used a BMW foglight switch. Sorry, no pix - busted DSL. Thanks a bundle, Cavalier Telephone! _________________ Jim

All of my switches are OEM stuff - mostly from bikes I've parted. But, if I have to, I'll pick up switches on ebay or order them Chicago BMW and wait 5-6 weeks.
There's a variety of switch inserts with different graphics from BMW - they're ONLY $5 a piece for a liitle square of plastic. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

This one is drilled out for the light sensor on my headlight modulator.
This one is drilled out for the LED for Motolights. The real switch is beside it.
This one is drilled out for LED on Fog Lights. The real switch is beside it.

Parts houses have switches that will fit in there and look OEM for less $ with slight mods to the back side of the switch. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
