It just drops in, i presume we are talking about the 35ltr case as fitted to the LT. You will find that it locates under the lip/rim ot the topbox. You will need several more hands than you possess as it requires all four corners to be released then you can slide a flat blade type tool sliding from one side to the other then lift. It's a bit of a PITA but it does come out, it's easier if you emplty the box first though. The carpet section is like a pre-moulded bucket. Thanks Tech - got it out and gave it a shower. Oil leaked in it.
Used Swarfega to break it up first.
Swarfega great for oil in clothes. Got used oil on a shirt before.
I chanced using Swarfega on it - nothing to lose - did a great job.
Wouldn't know it was black before. It was a dark shirt so I spose you'd want to test on a light colour. |
