next weekend we have fri sat sun mon off and will be riding out of reno...

gonna do the northern sierras to lava beds... then klamath falls... then ca 96 thru squatch territory to the big trees... then the lost coast... back on ca 36 to lassen and back to reno...

my heated grips stopped working again... gonna tear it apart to figure it out so my fingers dont get cold in the higher elevations...

my l e d license plate bracket stopped working... gonna figure it out so i have a bigger bung print so the followers can better see us...

i installed rox risers a few weeks ago and got them all dialed in last weekend... gonna paint the shiny all black...

our intercom fritzed out a few weeks ago and we tried out the warranty replacement last week... gotta figure it out too... cant seem to get it dialed in...

gonna check it all out... dial it all in... then of all things... gonna wash the bug eye motobrick and put it away...

our adventure will be 1100 miles over 4 days thru some of mother natures better efforts...

thats the plan... 100 degrees here today... no shade... should be fun...

ok...

1... fixed the bagster side strap bracket... ok now...
2... found the under tank heater grip connector loose... ok now...
3... found power into the license plate l e d but no glow... gonna replace it with the blazer...
4... installed another johnnyblanket so im doubled up under the tank...
5... found fuel overflow hose disconnected... ok now...

did some misc other unnecessary ch1t...

buttoned it all up and... freak out... with the motobrick running i had no pilot light... no low beam... no high beam... no horn... no flashers... no turn signals... no bug eyes... no nothing...

so with my unskilled hands i called the airborne man fowl... i had his number from the mr crab adventure...

he says load shedding relay which is the relief relay in the book... i swapped it out with the fuel pump relay and everything started working... ordered a new one to be picked up next week at sierra bmw in reno...

im lobster boy now... the sun was brutal... but i lost a few ounces in water weight... wheeeeew...

thanks k11og... i never would have figured out that relay...
