This morning about 5:40, under a beautiful moon, was able two times, to run about 5 minutes straight @ 8500 in fifth.
What a beautiful run!
The RS rocks!
(As I rode home today, I realized I was at 8500, or a little over) -- Not 9500! _________________ 1973 CB350F / 1977 R100/7 / 1991 DR650S / 1995 K1100RS

Once upon a time, I put 8,500rpm in my KLT for about 15 minutes the the Airton Senna road, but after 15 min, the temperature starts to risen....
And the engine starts to gasp, ups, cofs....
I went home, and one electrode in one spark plug simply vanish!! I believe that the injector was poor, and a excessive dry combustion chamber leads to a super hot spark plug, and then melted.
And I never past 7.000rpm again.....
