I think the deadline is 10/31 and it's a typo. The ride in discount is good until 10/31 and is listed right above it.
I'm real tempted to go for it. I have a Corbin Dual Canyon, but I think this would be better.
The leather upcharge is pretty steep, though...

if this is really the deal... $249.50 for seat in vinyl + $35 for freight plus your oem seat exchange... then perhaps we can get a leather upgrade discount if we got several orders together...

i gotts this hideous old motobrick... its gotts a squatch snatch on it... im figuring yous knows a thing or too about squatch snatches seeins wheres you at and all...
anyway my motobrick is a 1994 k1150rs...
same as klinkers... kinda... his is just 1100... i saw that mototools motobrick seat and said i gotts to gitts me one...
my squatch snatch is all wallered out... my passenger recently started getting tail bone pain after 500 + miles... then i recently started getting thigh pinch which is causing left knee pain after 1000 + miles... i know its the squatch snatch... my unskilled eyeballs can see its all wallered out... besides that it smells like hemorrhoid cream...
can i gitts in on the 1/2 price seat sale if its not too late...
i gotts a oem seat pan i can send to you... the foam and cover has been stripped off... however the pan is still stock... i stripped it down before i learned that if it been stripped it not stock... sorry...
anyway... im ready to take the photos and supply all the information...
there may be more motobrick riders who want in on this... mostly 1100s...

I"m in for a goup sex buy. 
Leather is of course very nice and longer lasting but a properly cared for basket weave vinyl will last quite a while and keep yer ass cooler on hot days.

Not according to his website. The pros of leather it says are that it's cooler and it stretches better to fit than vinyl will.
Then again, he doesn't specifically mention the difference between std vinyl and basketweave. Probably because he wants you to assume the position for the extra cost for leather.

So long as you have a stock seat to return.
$500 deposit for your old seat sounds a little steep.
I suppose you could buy someone's old one to send in for less than that.

Actually I still have my stock seat of my '97 as well. Haven't decided to part with it just yet.
But I only have so much room to store "stuff".
OTG- I can only imagine that you have less room for storage.
