Hello everyone. Some of you folks may have recognized me from such places as ADV Rider and JO MAMMA! Ha ha! But I digress.

I got myself one of dem dar BMW K11000 LT and I brought it home this past weekend.

Its a 96 with less than 33k miles on the clock. Pretty darn good shape for a 12 year old bike.

So far I'm loving it and loving it more the more I ride it. I was looking at all sorts of things for mile eating this past year. I was looking at a 1250 Bandit before this. I'm very glad it didn't work out. This K bike has oh so much more character. Love the roar of that engine.

Welcome. That bike is way too clean, though - better get out there and ride it!

OTG will pee his pants when he sees that black final drive...

Gernick,

Welcome.

Of course once you experience some of the crazies on this site you might have second thoughts. I still do.... Rolling Eyes

Wow. Looks like this:

...but the seat appears to be different.

Clean-looking motobrick. Welcome.

And try to be understanding when it comes to johnny owrstrich. Despite his mannerisms, we have learned that he's pretty harmless.

Very clean brick. Thats why I had to make a move on it.

Don't worry folks. I'm hoping to get it plenty dirty this weekend. I'm gonna take a wee trip up to the Thousand Islands following Lake Ontario for a last harrah of the season. I plan on taking my time and taking plenty of pictures.

Welcome Gernick, you will also realize the J.O. isn't the only harmless one out here. Nice looking brick. Don't let no cobwebs collect on it!

We have very similar bikes. Yours is much cleaner of-course.

Gernick,

Have you tried a "Johnny blanket" yet? Very easy to put together and removable
