Hi Folks,
I am sorry for lagging lately in answering PM's and being around, I have had a few lemons served up in the last few months. About six weeks ago things were humming along, my Wife was pregnant, McCain was on fire and I actually was seriously looking for bikes. Then dreaded news, the 3-month sonogram revealed no heartbeat. Then in prep for the DNC they discovered a mass on my Wife's left ovary. Then pathology came back with the "C" word. Then McCain lost and as a Presidential Appointee, I lose my job on January 20th, with prospects dimming a bit with the economic downturn.
It is not all sad news, matter of fact I am hoping things have turned - my Wife had surgery on Tuesday to remove the left ovary and a few other things (including prophylactic measures - the appendix, part of the omentum and a bunch of lymph nodes.) They found no obvious signs of cancer and did not have to remove other things as we had been told were a possibility. We are waiting on pathology to see if Chemo is necessary (prayers and thoughts enthusiastically accepted!), but as ever remain hoping for the best but preparing for what may come.
I hope to be around more in the coming months - after all if I do get lucky enough to find a nice K11RS (before Gwen does ) I will probably need all the tech advice I can get! _________________

Ted, so sorry to hear of your misfortunes. It was great to meet you at Hungry Mother's earlier this year, thanks for the donuts!
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.
If you ever find yourself down in the SE part of the state, you can have unlimited use of my K11RS, it would be honored to have you as a pilot! _________________ Steve

Ted, My prayers for both of you. I am just coming off the no-job part and it is no fun. There is a K-1 for sale in Vermont. At Frank's BMW. Kind of a long haul for you though. _________________ "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges"!

Hi, Ted,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Elizabeth. I can't offer a K1100 any more, but if you and Elizabeth are near El Paso, you are welcome to use a K75RT and/or a K75A/3. And, it should go without saying, if there is anything I can do, please tell me.
