Their web site acted odd after I paid them. Kinda froze then booted me out, forgot all about it, then they just showed up on the door step. Shipping charges were fair, just under 9 bucks. Nice item.
Will post a picture when I get rid of the red seat & install the new Corbin I ordered too.

PS mine just came yesterday.

Time to ditch them ugly and heavy boots.

I sent an email to Dan at Traxxion Dynamics to check on stock and shipping. I also sent my shipping info / requirements.
I followed it up with a phone call to place the order with my credit card.
I received the order six days later, which I think is pretty good to Western Canada. The freight was a bit high ($17.00) because they used priority mail, but it's my fault for not telling him I wasn't in that much of a rush.
I'll slap them on tomorrow.

FYI: Priority Mail is all the USPS does internationally now. They dropped parcel post last year because they weren't making any money on it.

It figures.
It still beats having it couriered to Canada. When that happens, we get whacked with a high brokereage fee - usually at least $35 - when it crosses the border.
If it comes in via post, no fees.
Thanks for the info.

I finally got around to installing the Traxxion Dynamics fork protectors today. I rode less than half a block and stopped to investigate the new noise. They bind against the bottom-front of the fairing. Has anyone else tried these on an LT?
I can't see that cutting them back will help.

No pictures. I took them off. I suppose I could just place them back on to show. They hit the unpainted cowling above the fork tubes.

Anyone have any success putting these guards on an LT?

Want to confirm before I take off my boots.

The "underpanel" on LTs is too close to the forks. I'm considering trimming or removing the underpanel. It's only a $6 part. 46632309265

Though there still might be an issue at full lock if the forks compress.

If I were you I'd stick with the boots since they're already on and provide more protection.

I have the guards on my 95 LT; after I put them on I taped the guards tight to the fork and heated them with a heat gun- this keeps them close enough to the fork that they do not hit the underpanel. They might still contact the lower triple tree under a severe fork compression, but I have not had that problem. I have had them installed for 4500 miles with no problems.

I put these on just in time. Lots of bugs in the U.P., so many that I had to stop and clean my visor.

I finally pulled the trigger on these. Love the protection of the gaiters but hate the look. My Honda 110 CT Trail has THAT look! To make them fit the LT I will either use the heat gun method or trim where necessary. Cool
I think that is the only site I have ever ordered from that didn't show shipping charges or give you an option for shipping. Rolling Eyes
