The man who made me the brackets said he would take ONE order for as many pairs as we wanted to place. He will sell them to me (price yet to be set) then I can sell them to you.
I will only charge cost plus shipping.
I will not be responsible or liable for them once they are in your hands.
This thread is to gather a FIRM list of those that want to get a set.
If you don’t post here, you are not on the list.
I will post the final price as soon as I know it.
Shipping in the US will be Flat Rate Priority.
If you live outside the US, I will quote shipping after I have an exact address and it will be shipped Fed Ex or UPS for tracking reasons.
Just before I place the order, I will confirm orders in this thread or VIA PM.

Well Shogs, I was interested until I saw how much hackin' and whackin' you had to do to the original mirror mounts to get them to fit, so I'm afraid I'll have to pass on this one, but thanks for the offer! (and the effort, very much appreciated!!) _________________ Steve

I can't think of a better reason
Yes, PayPal is fine with me. For those that don't use PayPal a Money Order will do.

I will reserve a pair of brackets also - not currently needed - my RBR light bar is holding up aux lights now - but one can never have too much m/cycle stuff/parts/spares on hand. _________________ Dave Norris KOG 248

Hey you'll
I just hear from John.
He will charge me $5 for each bracket, that is $10 for a pair.
You will get the same brackets he made for me.
I also have the CAD file if anybody wants it. Just sent me an email to shoganaik11rs @ gmail dot com and I'll forward it to you. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Ok, John just changed plans. He's going to be out of the country in early January.
He said get the orders together and to him by no later than Monday the 8th at 0900.
This is what I have so far:
owrstrich - 2 pair
dave n - 1 pair
BMGraeme - 1 pair
Flying Duck - 2 pair
Keep in mind that these are roughed out brackets. You'll need to sand and polish them before painting, unless you use a textured paint like I plan to do. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Guys these brackets are rough but functional. The trimming of the mount behind the mirror was a choice not a requirement. These brackets will work with no trimming at all. But I got to admit Gwen did a great job and the fit with the trimming is awesome.
So if you are looking for the latest powder coated billet aluminum farkle, these aint it. If you are looking for something that will hold a light, these are your brackets. |
