|
|
ok ... i'm new to the K1100 family. i have a '93 K1100RS and i love it. it's just a great bike. however, it has the stock seat on it and i want to ride with my wife ... who needs a backrest and maybe something more comfortable.
so, the following questions:
1. did any manufacturer make a backrest for this bike?
2. what other models does an aftermarket seat fit? K100? K75? and, what years? meaning, what other years/models can i search on ebay? or, wherever.
thanks for the help. |

Anything that fits an 86 or later K75, K100 or K1100 wiill work for your bike. If your bike is 94 or later you might have to swap the hinges on the seat too but that's not a big deal. At least the earlier ones cost less than the later ones. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

1stly, Welcome to the forum.
2ndly, if you want to keep the stock seat, you'll probably need a add-on top box that will become the back-rest. Otherwise you could find a Corbin with a backrest. If not used you could order 1 new.
I think Duck just sold one, you could look at the pic's for an idea of what it is. _________________ Ride safe.
