Bosch 72161 oil filters are only $3.48 at Rock Auto. That's what I use. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Either ebay or one of the BMW dealers online. Sorry, you'd have to actually go check the price plus shipping yourself to find out which is the best deal for you. _________________ Jim

I'll be doing a complete fluids change this spring or summer. I assume I have a bmw oil filter in now since it was serviced at the dealer by the previous owner. Do I need the bmw wrench to get it out or will a wrench that fits the bosch fit it? Can the old one be removed by piercing with a screwdriver and turning?
I know the clearance is tight in there and want to have everything ready before I drain it out. Maybe someone could put together a list of everything needed for complete change of fluids including crush washers, fluids. Maybe it's already out there. _________________ Jim

Same size as BMW oil filter. Take your new filter to Wal-Mart or an auto parts to find a wrench. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Not the cheapest, but OEM and crush washers too.
Also any other filters/ parts you could need:

For new parts tyy Chicago BMW. great prices, but not the quickest.
Call talk to a real person to confirm expected delivery.
