I just called the E-Bay seller and he said this came off of a bike that had a 9/92 production date. According to the BMW parts fiche the ABS brain on the K11RS was changed pre and post 7/93.
Apparently, then this is the older model brain. I assume this is ABS 1 and the later K11RS and R11RS had ABS 2 which both have part numbers 34512331935 for the hydro unit.

I'm not sure I would pay much if buy at all used ABS bits.
Being in a serviceable condition will depend on how long the unit has been open to enviroment (brake fluid/moisture/corrosion thing) or if P/O ever changed brake fluid.
No way of testing other than installing and going for a ride. Not a bad way if you are doing the work yourself - not good if paying a shop to do it.
If you are having ABS faults and your battery is not the problem you may want to think about plumbing around the ABS system and riding without. You won't miss it. _________________ Dave Norris KOG 248

Though I'm not a big fan of the false positives I get with the ABS II on my RS, I WOULD miss it. It saved me from washing out the front earlier this month. I pulled off to the right on what looked like pavement at night - it was gravelly - ABS kicked in - kept me upright. The ABS I on my LT saved me once on that bike too.
I don't think they're great ABS but they do work when needed. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
