Someone here emailed me a few weeks back inquiring about the GPS/camera mount I have on my LT. I was cleaning up some storage cards this morning and found some pictures of it so I tossed together a little web page which can be found here:

Hey Drake,
That's a nice clean install. Do you have any pics of how you installed your remote for your radio. I am looking at a couple of different ways but yours looks like another nice clean install so if I can steal your method I won't have to reinvent the wheel.
Thanks,

It's a long story but I ended up having a guy at a machine shop make a custom one out of aluminum for me for free. Essentially it's a bar clamp with a flat plate welded on.
If you go that route have it elevated and then supported on the left so you can run the end of the handlebar cover under it.
When I put a radio on my now sold K100RS4V. I used Ram Mount parts and that worked out pretty well. There's a picture at the bottom of this page

The Ram Mount is for 1 inch diamter bars but I just put some thick hard rubber under it. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks, I think I can get a handlebar mount and then cut and bend some aluminum stock to mount it with. Using some permanent double sided tape I can offset it as you said so it sits better on the handlebar. _________________ Rich
