When the gas tank is full I makes no buzzing sound after a 100 miles or so
a slight hum/buzz sound starts and gets louder as you ride on. stop the bike turn of key and turn it back on and it stops the sound but comes back
after a mile or so. when i first heard it I tap the top of gas tank with my hand it would go away and come back, well But doing that for a week
I notice i put a dent in the top of my tank 
I removed the fule pump and snapped in back in, It stop for a day or two then It started doing it again. so now every time it buzz I just fill the tank and it stop untill the next 100 miles, any Ideas this is really starting to get to me.

Sounds like the fuel pump - they all sound like that when the tank gets less than a third full. Becomes really noticeable when there's just a few litres of fuel left in it. I tend to fill up after 180 miles because I can't stand the noise anymore. Not much you can do about it I'm afraid.

Definitely the fuel pump letting you know that the tank is less than half full.
Change your bike for an LT, then you'll have so many other noises being channelled up through the faring that you'll not be able to hear the pump anymore...

Has anyone tried to stop the buzzing sound?? I'm thinking about trying to wrap the fuel pump in a rubber hose to damper the sound maybe a thick radiater hose and zip ties or clamps, has anyone tried this?? any info that anyone has done to reduse the humming sound would be nice.

We lucky devils have a fuel gauge, low fuel warning light and an audible low fuel alarm on our bricks. Viva las BMW's!

my fuel sending unit does not work one of things to replace soon. do you think that a new/.used one might stop the buzzing?

My old K1100RS pump used to buzz when i got to about 2 litres left in the tank, the LT doesn't make any noise (well i cant hear it over the rest of the noise directed at me by the fairing )
Different pump might stop it or be quieter, you can only hear it when the fuel level gets low and the pump is out of the fuel, it will make the noise all the time but the fuel deadens the sound and stops you hearing it.
Just turn your MP3 player up to MAX

My pump doesn't actually buzz, more like a whirr when fuel level gets low. Not sure a sender will help.

Fraught with problems, not least of which is finding a rubber which will not degrade in gasoline, but a secondary consideration is that as the the pump is cooled externally and internally by the fuel in the tank, you may cause it to run hot...and you wouldn't want that, would you?

No. They're completely separate entities. It'd be like changing your socks because your shoes creak .
Sorry to say this my friend, but unless you're in a position to try a different pump altogether, I'm afraid you're stuck with the noise, but I find it useful as final warning to fill up.

Ok I think I fixed the buzzing fule pump
The last few weeks mine was buzzung even with a full tank.
This "BUZZ" was driving me nuts!!! I decided to remove the whole pump and clean the terminals and look at the sock. After I removed the pump assembaly, I noticed that the fuel pump had about a 2mm gap between the pump housing, and the pump dampener. Everything was replaced with new parts about a year ago. Not sure why this happened BUT, The vibration dampener had failed and was not snug. I found 2 zip ties and wedged them between the pump body and the dampener top and bottom. Thus stopping the 2mm play. I connected the pump back up, snaped it into the tank, went for a GREAT RIDE!!! NO NOISE!!!!!!!!! 
When I replace the fule filter again I'll try to remember to take a picture of what I have done.
