Hello!
I've posted that question on Fling Brick, but it seems that there is not much users of 4V machines on English spoken part of forum. So...
It looks like I have to replace valve seals in my machine. Spark plugs are covered with dark, sticky jelly - looks like oil to me. Compression is good and equal on all cylinders, oil consumption about 250ccm / 1000 Km - not bad, a bit of white smoke at start, no matter if side stand or central one. Yet there was problem with setting correct CO level (no oxygen sensor) - mechanic told me that it might be due the oil burn. machine has a bit less then 60 000 miles on the clock.
Is there a way to diagnose seals and rings without cylinder head being removed?
Is it possible in 4 valve engines to change the seals without removing the head? A friend of my, mentioned that in 2V engines that it is possible.
Are there any threats to engine triggered by valve seals failure?
