1985 Honda Rebel
250ccs of pure awesomeness.
4k Kilometers. (the speedo is in Kph, not mph)
Mint, I mean MINT condition.
New tires/chain/sprockets/plugs/valves/oil
1000 dollars.
I took it for a ride around the block a few times, this thing purrs like a kitten and is pretty peppy too!
My wife was so happy. She took it for a low speed ride around the block and I caught a glimpse of "the look". Too soon to tell, but I think she might be hooked...she did ride for years in Brasil.
Proud new owner. Yes she had half a beer and went for a ride. Sue me.
I can't get over how clean the bike is...PO is a local ADVrider buddy whos wife moved up to a 500.
The tribe. It's small. My wife is 5'2" and can flat-foot it with her knees bent.
One of my cats Jimi Hendrix was very curious.
Further postings as events warrant. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Quite a steal there. Way to go.
You named your cat Jimi Hendrix? Die it purple. (In high school we used to go to Hendrix's grave at night, put speakers on top of the car, blast Hendrix and get stoned. )
Hendrix was a GOD! I blast Hendrix riding around on my LT. Like a Rolling Stone live at Monterey was one of his best IMO.

Nice Dave! I owned a rebel for a short while before realizing it was way too small for me. Got about 80 mpg too. _________________ Jim

Smile says it all. I was riding with her in the truck because of my recent hand surgery. (trigger finger release)

Looks like the North Shore.
Did Mrs OTG ever come back from that ride or did she have so much fun that she kept on going? _________________ John & Cathy
