Please- ASAP (we don't have lobsters in the backyard ya' know)

BTW, as of now this K11OG get-together will be led by a Ducati. 'nuff said

EXCELLENT.

Mrs OTG wanna' come? Cathy is in also.

We can meet you halfway if you want to 2-up and Paula can do the cager ride back north with Cathy.

Or if you want to ride both your bikes, Cathy can have the trailer with her and after you both ride for about 3 hours we can put her bike on the trailer while we both ride back north with our ladies driving.

Just a thought.

Otherwise, good to hear that you will be attending!!

I'm 99% sure Paula will not want to make the 3-400 mile trip up there. She doesn't have the motorcycle legs and gets cold really easy. Her riding her own bike is out of the question also. That 250 is a death trap on the highway.

Hi, John,
I'm in, pending the possible family conflict I e-mailed you about. Are the dates for sure? What ARE they? Is there a relatively inexpensive motel nearby? Even though we'll be led by a Ducati, you won't throw rocks at a K75, will you?

So I count, including John, Cathy and me, 4 definites, one probable, and one or two maybes. I'm good with that. Good start. Maybe I can talk Sue in to coming up for lobster night but with horses to take care of and a new puppy in the house it's hard to get her away for long.

No red, we aren't trapping our own lobsters. Get over it. Smile Smile

Hi, John,
With you not having your own lobster pots and boat a la Drake and not being able to pull them out of the ocean, do we need to send you a check in advance and, if so, for how much? I can eat at least a 2# lobsta and possibly larger. Here in El Paso, at the larger grocery stores, lobsta (live) is going for a bit over $14 per pound.
If I do spaghetti, be sure you have containers for extra sauce. I always seem to make too much and it freezes well.

I just Googled a map from my house to Sugar Hill, 1000+ miles, across two countries. Now if my wife would only realize my need to go again.

Joeangi sold his wife. See "More ABS II questions".

I think you might prefer a more southern route in October. I used to live in Chicago.

As right now we have Phil Marvin and Dave (OTG) plus Jim (Saltcreek) and the two of us for the Multi-Notch ride plus Jim's wife Sue for the crustacean feed- which will probably be Friday evening. Phil has volunteered to do his legendary spaghetti sauce and I figure that might do best for the Saturday evening chow down.

ANYONE ELSE???

We gotta' know very soon.

Phil,

The food is on Cathy and me- your entry fee is just getting here. We will definitely have extra capacity to save some "Phil's Phamous Sauce". You just let us know what you need to create the pasta feast.

BTW, a few trees are starting to turn to Fall colors here. Hopefully the Hungry Lobsta happens at the very end of foliage because the traffic will be south of us.

We are so looking forward to a great K11OG weekend.....

You might not want to commit to buying the food until you see how big I am. (and, to a much lesser extent, Phil Razz )

Dave and Phil,

We used to live in the NYC area and go back frequently to see some longterm friends.

After eating at upscale Manhattan restaurants, NOTHING is expensive up here.

We will feed Lobsta to 6 or 26 K11OG members. Come and get it.

Can't wait......
