My bike was knocked over by an RV driver at a rest area this past summer. Teh damage is covered by the other fella's insurance, but there is no BMW shop anywhere near me. A local mc shop took the fairing off, and found the mounting bracket was broken and several pieces of hardware missing. I was given a newer bracket fo rhte bike when I bought it. (should have asked why, no?). My question is: does BMW or anyone else sell a fairing mounting hardware kit for a '93 K1100 LT?

Desmot Parts. Anyone used the stainless fastener kit from these guys? 151 pieces for $55, labelled in bags. All fairing fasteners included. I figure buying separate fasteners from BMW would at least cost as much, no? _________________ '93 K1100 LT

The Desmo kit is definitely a good buy. BMW nuts and bolts aren't that expensive, but the Desmo kit will give you more bang for the buck. _________________ Jim
