My turn.

1st dinner at our house. Always good to have a guest, too bad I didn't get a pic of Scott on the air mattress with John Lennon at his feet.

Fueling up

Met up at Tamarak farm, headed out without delay...shame I would have liked to spent some time on the Saltcreek farm!
Fuel stop no 2.

Yes, John is really tall with 5 foot legs.

Unpacking at Johns house. I not so secretly lusted after his garage.

Preparing the Lobstas. Like John said these suckers were huge. They were bigger than Jos cranium.

Phil telling another awesome story.

The first supper....

F-U lobsta! You're going DOWN!

John really doesn't look like Hitler in RL. Really.

Dead bodies everywhere.

Cathy did an awesome job on the meal....bravo!
The dog was a little mental but warmed up to us....on Sunday. Sad

View from John and Cathys porch. Amazing.

Saturday ride started out great but deteriorated rapidly to full-on suckage. My feet had a puddle in them. Was dangerous too. Visability sucked and the roads were narrow. (which I'm sure would have been awesome had it been dry)

It was REALLY nice to be warm and dry again. I really need some good raingear.

Phil started right away on his Spagetti. Why he calls it Spaghetti I will never know, it is more like an awesome bolognase with Angel Hair.
Who cares if he's the spagetti nazi? It was worth it!

I brought some really nice cigars up north but guess what? No one smoked cigars there! FU GUYS! I enjoyed one each night on the screened in porch.

Phil said he had a message for Sean...

Cathy made awesome brownies. Whatever was left we mixed with water and used to shore up the foundation of the house.

We were fully wired up.

Sunday morning.

Don't worry old girl, I'm not going to beat you with a stick.

Scott working the LT. Who cares if he looked like a woman getting a pelvic exam?

Final fuel up. Parting is such sweet sorrow. Glad everyone got home ok.

Good friends.
Good food.
Warm house.
Great laughs.

What could be better?

Cool pictorial, Dave, maybe someday we'll make it over there.

Dave, I wouldn't know about the pelvic, but you sure looked comfortable when you were on it BFD, and all. Laughing

So you never said, what did you think of John's RS. No BFD not withstanding.

Smooth.
Sluggish, a little tippy and cramped/uncomfortable but smooth.

OTG,

EXCELLENT pictures. Thanks.

I had to exchange my heated gloves at Whitehorse Gear in Conway yesterday. So I went over the Kanc' and the exact opposite weather happened. I left from that same gas station and the weather looked like crap. But as I got to the top and started down the other side (about where we had the worst weather last week) the clouds parted and the sun came out. Nearly biblical in appearance. You shoulda' been there............ Smile

I hope to hook up with Saltcreek at least one more time this fall for a ride.

BTW, I'm wondering if the northeast "Hungry" should be a movable event. Perhaps in NYS or Ct or even northern NJ if a next one happens. We do have some great roads here but I live 1 hour from the Canadian border- kinda' remote. Thoughts???

Thanks again Scott and Dave for the pictures.

John

Hi, John,
I was very happy to ride to your place in Hew Hampshire, and would do so again. We haven't even begun to discover the roads in your area. And besides, New England has LOBSTA. What does New Jersey have besides crooked politicians? For the next Hungry Lobsta, I vote for New England.
