I am looking at getting an RS rear wheel for my LT. the difference in width between the two tires is 2 centimeters(1 centimeter either side). Looking at my bike it seems like I may only have 1 centimeter of space between the original wheel now and the swing arm. Is the RS wheel set off differently so the larger tire doesn't rub on the swing arm.

My problem with this is I can't get over how screwy the RS looks from the rear with the wheel offset to the left of the fender. _________________ Jim

It's part of its charm.
Jim, it bothered me at first- now I don't even see it. _________________ John & Cathy

So the RS wheel offsets enough to clear the swing arm? Is this just a difference in the spacer of the design of the RS wheel? _________________ Rich

The spacer, final drive housing, etc... are all the same.
Both my RS and LT (w/ RS rear) seem to line up pretty well: Maybe a tad to the left on the RS.

I have fitted RS wheel's to my LT with no problems at all (front and rear)
Makes a BIG difference to the way it feels on the road, much more stable.

Never mind. I forgot that I put an RS rear on the LT last year. (I do actually have another one but it's my backup for the others if I get a nail since it's still got some decent rubber on it..) _________________ 93 LT (x2)
