Bought my first snowmobile this morning. Pics eventually. A water-cooled ski-doo slightly older than my bike. What's got in to me? _________________ Jim

Jim,
You internal-combustion maniac! Is this for work or pleasure- or a mix?
Got our 3 point snowblower a couple of weeks ago. But I am NOT giving in yet. Need a few more warm days of BMW/Duc/Kaw then cross country (skate) skiing for the next 4 months.
BTW, the invitation is still open for you to ride either the Ducati 620 or the Kaw 250R. Maybe this year but probably next, but
Check your PM.

Not sure yet. We plan to use it on-farm only for now. We have plenty of fields and trails on 70 acres. John, you saw much of it when you were here.
Need to find a Ski-doo Formula forum! _________________ Jim

But will they have an OTG, j.o., Phil Marvin, Roy or any other crazies like this place? Refined insanity is a hard to find commodity- bet they don't have a Duck. _________________ John & Cathy

I L-O-V-E snowmobiles. NO SPEED LIMIT! (When they're off of actual streets.)
Also better to crash on. DAMHIK.
If you ever get the chance, rent one and take it for a spin around Yellowstone. Or jumping over golf tees. Or across an ice-covered lake in a free-for-all spin. YEEHAW! _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Better to rent than own IMO.
Ride it 3x and they need maintenance that costs over 1k. YMMV. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Have fun, be careful.
I've been on MC's a while now but those things scare the smit outta me.
Get it out on the wide open frozen lake, good line of site, MAN that's fun!
Big races up in Eagle WI every year too. Some of those racing sleds are freakish fast. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Oh man...you know my mantra...live for the day. But Snowmobiles rank behind boats in terms of pure "pain in the ass" meter.
In any case when the white stuff starts falling you're damn fkn right I'm going to be jealous! _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Duck, I might have to wait until snow. It doesn't look so great in the barn. _________________ Jim

Why do you say that Steve?
Don't you get snow there, or does that pond in your back yard freeze?

Hi Jim...
Ditto on John's comment: BUT now you need another K11OG reflector sticker !!
Best of luck with the new machine, even though I hope it never snows again here in NH !!
