Hi everyone,
I'm damm close to gettng my K11RS back together.
Can anyone tell me just where the ground cable from the battery connects to the engine or frame.
Cant find it in my manual and cant remember where it came from.
Could be a senior moment.

Most K's have a mounting lug on the transmission housing just in front of the left aft frame mount (Where the frame bolts to the transmission). That is where many grounds go to.

With the "bulk" of the battery current being used for the starter your best connection is to the the engine/transmission assy somewhere, the closer to the starter the better.
You should also have a smaller guage wire grounding the frame as well, but the largest one goes to the engine. _________________ Ride safe.
