Here's one for someone with a 75 wanting some new exhaust
The add doesn't say if it's the collector and can or what all it is.

Hi, Drake,
Feel free to go after the Staintune. I have a low mileage stock header set and a low mileage stock muffler for whichever of my K75's might need it. I've had them probably 5 years, maybe 6. Marian will probably inherit them still in the box! _________________ Ride Safe,

I had a Staintune for my K75 years ago and when I put it on it sounded great but it killed all the bikes midrange power.(the K75 does not have alot of power to spare) I took it off the bike and went back to stock. Over the next few years, when ever I saw an ad looking for a staintune for a K75 I would lend the can to them for a week or more and would always get it back with a big Thank you for saving the expence of buying one. That was until a guy in if I remember right from VT asked about it. I sent it to him to try and he loved it. He did buy it from me and he did say it lost some power but he loved the sound so much that it was worth the trade. $100 is a great price for it but just be aware of the hidden cost. For $100 plus shipping, I can always try it out and resell it. It's the sport one which is supposedly fairly loud too. I prefer quieter bikes but we'll see...
Phil: I may be interested sometime in the future. I'll keep yours in mind. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

If it was for a K11, I'd have bought it myself.
But I'll keep you in mind if I see something in the future. _________________ Ride safe.

Yea, I know. That was just a jab at Duck. I know he's always looking to upgrade. One ever goes on sale it's going to be a hell of a bidding war. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

in that way many mmo guilds have it right -- when grinding for loot that drops very rarely they have a merits system to claim the item. The more time put towards helping people get loot the more merits and the higher in the claim line you rise. Why can't new remus pipes drop every time an old beemer is removed from circulation? We need better loot drops!
jo -- a former roommate and another friend have been telling me all about the snow up there. Sounds like a blast. _________________ (formerly) 1993 k1100rs |
