Hi Folks,

Looking for the original, no longer available official BMW K75/K100 Service Manual (not the Haynes one, the official BMW one.)

If you have one in PDF please drop me a line.

Thanks!

Ted

Dear Ted,

I have the original fiche.....I had the nice folks at M.I.T. copy it to paper, but that was a LONG time ago. It is for 1986 K100.

Let me know if you need.

Joe

Hi, Ted,
I also have the manual on fiche. If you have a fiche reader, I'll send you the fiche. If I remember, it is for the older K75's. I don't believe it shows, for example, our forks, alternator, electric windshields, etc. I haven't looked at it for years.

The original BMW 'repair manuals' are still available from various parties. In the UK I got mine from MotoBins.

The one sold by MotoBins are original ones or a copies (maybe based on the film version)?

I asked this because I have seen copies (quality of the pictures and text print quality is worse, some dirts due to the copy job are visible).

Thanks for answering,

Mike

Mike, as far as I can determine they are originals. Although not cheap (I think £40 about) well worth the money!

I spent nearly £40 quid on a Clymer, and wished I had not bothered.
I have the 1100rs and the Haynes doesn't cover that.Cannot say I find the Clymer very clear or easy to use, particularly if you have a later model as the updte is in a supplement at the end of the book which keeps refering you every few sentences to earlier chapters, there is no useful section on "how to" complete simple common tasks like routine servicing etc you just have to work it all out by a process of elimination from a variety of various individual component strip downs.....
I then found a free BMW manual PDF which at least is much more clearly laid out and I just print out the pages I need.

That's why it is such a bonus to have this K11OG list and the IBMWR pages.

Many many thanks to all the work of List Moderators, Technical helpers and List Members for putting together such a tremendously helpful resource for us all.

Wishing you all very very well Very Happy

Have the Haynes 75/100 on PDF, Haynes only unfortunately but you're welcome to a copy.

I do have the workshop one for the K1100, (RS / LT), on PDF if that's any good?
