If you have ordered from them was the shipping cost reasonable? Did you have to pay duty? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth while to order from the.
Thank you

Back in '02, I had just bought a '95 K75RT (the one I just sold) for Harriet. It didn't have crash bars, and she wanted them. I went to my FLD, Deming Cycle, to order them and was told there are none in the country and maybe they are available from Germany, but we don't know. I checked the Moto-Bins website and they had one set in stock. In those days I got a 10% discount at Deming Cycle. I ordered the set from Moto-Bins on a Saturday and they were in my hand the next Friday! The cost, including over $50 shipping charge, was less than I would have paid my FLD. Was I pleased by Moto-Bins? YES! Would I order from them again? YES! I paid no duty on the package I received from them, either.

I need a lot of new parts. Yes I can get them here for more money. If I can save by buying from Motor- Bins why not buy from them.

I bought a Thai teenage wife from them.

It didn't work out.

I hear their motorcycle parts are good though.

I forget what the shipping charges were, but early summer last year I bought the replacement brake rotor bobbins set from them.
They came quick and I think it was just a bit over $44.00 for both sets.

The stock ones were very loose after 35,000 miles.

In my experience shipping from the US to the UK, if the package is less than $100 they can't be bothered to process any duties. There must be an actual figure somewhere but thats what I tend to go by. If its a higher value item they will now slap on another 18% as sales tax (VAT) if the package is shipped at a higher value. This means that going the other way from the UK to outside of the EU, they should quote you a price exclusive of VAT so that 18% (just changed from 15%) should be taken off your quoted prices. Just make sure they quote you exclusive of VAT.

The exchange rate at the moment is about $1.60 = £1.00

That must be the Thai bride I returned as 'faulty goods' as she didn't work. I still had to!!.

I have bought parts from Moto-Bins and never had a problem.

Hi, Lexxol.
You're welcome. Tips are accepted! Laughing BTW, I see you are in Venice, FL. Any chance of your making it to Hungry Mother III in May?
