I am a covered bridge/bridge fan. No, I didn't just search a data base, I had to do a little looking around to find it. Thanks for starting the thread - I didn't realize there were so many covered bridges out west.

Rode across this one in September 2008 - The Millau Viaduct in Southwestern France. The highest bridge in the world, topping out at 1125
feet - taller than the Eiffel tower and 125 feet shorter than the Empire State building.
The word awesome is vastly overused these days, but it applies here...

That suspension bridge on Southern France is the most stellar in this group. (IMHO) I think the seismic retrofit on the San Francisco -Oakland Bay Bridge is a similar design. (The eastern span)

Isn't there one similar to that near Revelstoke? (Or maybe yours is the one I rode. IT was a long time ago. I do remember riding a very LONG narrow grated bridge somewhere around there. Some old fart on a Harley made me pull over and then gave me insturctions on how to ride across the bridge.  I didn't really need it but it was nice on his part.)

Hi there!
Blu by u do your home work! It is not a Russian bike! It is a decent and quite well made Est German MZ ES 250 Tropic! The MZ, DKW pre war, has invented all most all what was invented in domain of 2 stroke sport engines and wan a series of Moto GP championship. I used to won one MZ ETZ 251 - great small and very vital bike. Thanks to MZ i have understood what riding a bike means  .

Probably the most infamous bridge of all, the actual Bridge on the River Kwai
Taken during my Chiang Mai ride last year...no, we weren't allowed to ride over it, it's a major tourist attraction now
