Scott,
My pseudo-cab is actually very good at keeping the snow out of my face when the -10F wind is blowing sideways at 4:30am. A 1+ foot snowfall takes me about an hour and a half to completely clear from our road (12' wide clearing is 1-2 round trips plus the area in front of the garage doors)
Spring can't come soon enough.......

If I only could have had something like that years ago.
I know what it's like to run a blower on the rear of a tractor. We used to have a 6 or 7ft unit on the back of an old deer 1010 with no cab, like yours, makes for cold and wet in a hurry. _________________ Ride safe.

Now THAT is one serious snow tool! Sure could have used that when
I lived south of Chicago. _________________ Mick McKinnon

Hi, John (and Cathy),
It can't be better than HL 1, or can it? I'm looking forward to revisiting the New Hampshire Contingent this fall. I haven't forgotten how to make spaghetti sauce, nor have I forgotten how to eat lobster. I also haven't forgotten the wonderful hosts we had for HL 1! _________________ Ride Safe,

LOVE the Sticker mod on the Lobsta!!!
I have seen Johns rig in person, it is a beautiful and awesome piece of machinery. He built a garage just to house it!
Part of the reason why he got such a serious machine is that the dirt road that leads to the Sugarhill cabin is not maintained by the state/town so John does it all. (if I recall correctly) That road is what, 1.5 miles John? _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Actually Dave it is more like 1/2 mile- which is long enough under some truly atrocious conditions. I wasn't kidding about the wind at -10F.
But I definitely have the right tool- 6 1/2 feet wide. And in keeping with the K bike theme, the blower is shaft drive. But the splines have external grease zerk fittings- no special Honda Moly 60 here, just good old lith grease.
Of course the $$$ you see in the picture could have bought a new K1300GT _________________ John & Cathy
