Gwen and I spent some time replacing my steering head bearings. Put back together, the bike rides great now - but I think at some point, something seated a little deeper on the road than we had it in the shop, and the result is a little bit of play in the steering tube - nothing monumental, but enough to notice.

Am I correct, in saying that one of the triple braces must be loosened (lower I think) and the hex nuts above the upper triple loosened, then the knurled nut tightened, in order to get everything back in tight again? Then tighten the hex nuts and lower triple... ?

Loosen the TOP triple clamp, maybe tap on it up to be sure to loosen any force on the knurled nut. Adjust that nut and then tighten everything down again. Keep the weight on the front wheel to make sure the lower bearing is seated all the way. You might check it again after a couple of thousand miles.
