Guy getting into his car checking out my RS:
Him: "Nice bike. Looks like fun."
Me: "Yep. I love it."
Him: "Is that the same kind of bike they used in The Long Way Around?"
(I'll bet Shogs could do it.) _________________ 93 LT (x2)

With the mobile tech support, never-ending Ohlins supply line, etc. they could have done it on RSs. |

If you've ever ridden your bike on something loose or slippery then you'd definitely want to remove or be able to turn off the ABS. I took my RS on a very silty road one day. The ABS made it so that I essentially had no brakes.
In order to back it down a small hill I had to turn the bike off because the ABS would just let the front wheel go even though I was backing up. It was freaky.
I think I've figured out how to turn the ABS off. I'll experiment with that someday. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I have a friend in my local riding group that rode a K75 around the world, much of it on a similar route. Google Motoedde to read about the trip. He made it! _________________ 1997 K1100LT
