So I was riding home this afternoon watching the temperature needle jump up and down (I don't think there's anything wrong with the fan stuff, just the meter) when I had an urge to sneeze.
Now once before when I sneezed inside the helmet I was faced with a massive goober right in front of my nose on the visor. So I got clever today and flicked the visor up. Only a small goober let fly, or so I thought. So put the visor back down, in the process of which I discovered the mother of all goobers had actually been blown up and onto the inside of the visor. So half way down it dripped off and blew straight back into my face right between the eyes.
So here I am goober between the eyes, and half the inside of the visor covered in it. YYYEEECCHHHH!!
Just had to pull into the servo and clean it all up....
Still feel sick from the experience bblleeccchh.
Note to self, turn head sideways with visor up next time! _________________ K1100RS '97

I believe I speak for all of us here when I say how grateful we are that you shared this with us, and particularly how grateful we are that you didn't have your camera with you

Thanks for a reminder, my anus was getting brown again. Time for a touch-up. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Ha - I just bought a new Scorpion helmet (insanely quiet helmet BTW!) and it came with one of those inserts that covers your nose to keep it from fogging the lens. My first thought on seeing it was, "Cool, a sneeze guard" _________________

I got the EXO-700 in white. The cheekpads are a bit snug but they sell a whole array of cheekpad sizes and I might try the next smaller. I am a longtime Shoei fan and currently have two old Duo-Tecs, an RF-200 and a BMW System IV. All are pretty old and loud (especially the DuoTecs!)
I tried on the new RF-1100 but it just didn't fit as well as the old RF-900 I had and to be honest the $400 price tag was a real put off. I saw a great review of the EXO-700 on WebBikeWorld so I went and tried one on, fit like a glove. REALLY comfortable, and an easily removable liner. My local dealer had one in white at less than half the RF-1100 so I bought it.
First ride with it was Saturday and I really like it. It is extremely confortable and the quietest helmet I have ever owned. It also has a wide and open view and several cooling vents, plus the screen will stay cracked open in the wind.
I'd recommend it to anyone. _________________
