Because the rear half of the front fender covers the upper caliper bolt. If you could find an RS rear half of the front fender then that might work. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks. I know I could have just gone ahead, but that's bad form.
I actually did a similar thing for a CB750 years ago, but mounting on the turn signal stems.
I've been pondering a solution for the K100RT, and this seems like the ticket. Thanks for the idea.
