Hi Chaps,

Hope that everyone is well.

I am thinking that I'd like to make my K75 look a little sportier and a little more aggressive. I was thinking of attempting to put some clubmans on it (might be a dumb idea) or maybe straights. Anyone have any experience doing something like this? What's the diameter of K75 bars? Any suggestions?

I have to tell you, this is the first time I have ever heard of anyone wanting sportier bars on a K75S - usually folks want to go to C bars!

Can't help, other than a bump to the top Wink

Renthals / similar will give you a wide choice of heights and widths.

Your bars [ assuming the same as K100 ] are metric and the Renthals are imperial. The bottom line - you need to take a Gnat's off [ that's the technical tem ] the bore of the grips - especially the clutch side. Try to force it on and the housing WILL break [ yes did it TWICE]. A round file and 10 minutes work will see it done.

Alternatively clip-ons with 42mm bore and again - a small mod will do, depends HOW sporty you want to go!

I bought a K100 parts "rat bike" that had Renthal bars on it.

K bike bars are 22mm diameter.

It seems like something no one has really done; It's hard to find anyone whose put clips or clubmans on a K75. And yet I really don't think the K75 is all that far from classic styling. I think it particularly works in my case where the cleanness of the belly pan and the retrofitted single headlight (instead of the fairing) looks quite classic.

Anyone have any pictures of clubmans or clips on a K75?

Quite a few Clip-Ons available for Kays. Wink

Mine are Tarozzi fully adjustable.

You just have to be aware of your fork stanchion diameter as the Clip-Ons come in 41mm or 42mm dia. So either way there is a small amount of "fettling" involved. Laughing

There's probably 5 or 6 different types ranging from around £100 to £200.

I'm fitting a more "Sixties" style on my Kay Cafe Racer to go with the Wire wheels etc. Also, there's a 7" chrome headlamp and brackets [ again 60's style ] - just depends what era you want to go for. Cool
