Hello All.
Recently acquired a 99 K1100LT ex police with about 45K on it.
Cosmetically good, very clean, but with enough rattles to keep Keith Moon happy. I'm working my way through it...
This seems to be a good resource for info and encouragement. I'll need it..!
I'm in sunny Cumbria, UK: "The Sunshine County".

Welcome David!
Check the main bracket that holds the upper fairing first. That's what had mine rattling when I first bought it. _________________ Jim

Thanks for the welcome!
I'll check the brackets, Salt. There's certainly room for rattle up front.
Hello UK people, though W-S-M is almost a different country to Cumbria...
I wonder if there's any people Oop North?

I met a guy with a 93 LT in the parking lot of the Concord, NH Target store today. I encouraged him to join the forum He had a leaky fork seal. _________________ Jim

Had a trip out today - up through the borders of Scotland. This is a favourite trip of mine. I "cured" all the odd noises by wearing headphones and playing Jethro Tull. That gives an idea of my age..
I also played the Peatbog Faeries, which give an idea of my youth..

DJS,
Nice ride- it does kinda' look like an Empire Storm Trooper
When Phil Marvin gets back from the mine (yeah, the mine) he will have some comments about your "cop" bike- he's got the K75 version.
Lots of room in that storage space behind you- I personally saw Phil pull all kinds of stuff out of there- it kept on coming and coming......
Again, welcome.

Well, thanks for the comments!
It's a pity I'm going to ruin it all by putting the dual seat on it.. but I expect my wife never saw the Storm Trooper bit as an asset.
I'll put up pics when it's done, and you can express your disappointment.
