Putting the front end back together after new forks/bearings. I noticed the wiring for ABS switch is broken off. Can the switch be removed, it'll make it easier to solder it. I plan to clean out the area with brake cleaner.

Yeah - the switches pop right out - just depress the little center tabs you see in your pic. I'd use electrical contact cleaner before I'd use brake cleaner... just sayin'....

I rebuilt / soldered mine using those instructions.

Followed the instructions and this ABS switch only pushes down, then springs back. It does not lock in the up or down position. Is this the way its supposed to work??

Get ahold for Drake. I got my switch from him.
He can supply more guidence.
