| First let me say hello, I sold my k1100lt last year, and bought a k1200lt. I know you guys know a lot about these bikes. My wife has a 1995 k75rt, I put a works performance shock,a little shorter, and raised the fork tubes about an inch, but it's still a little tall for ANN she is 5'3". The bike has a corbin seat now, I'm looking for a low seat, if anyone has one or knows where I can get one please let me know. I'm in central ky. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. |

Hi, James314,
I have done the conversion you want on a '95 K75RT back in 2002. It worked well. If you need advice, PM me. I do have a complete low seat kit, but a friend here in El Paso keeps making noises about wanting it on his K1100LT. It's not a difficult swap if you have ALL the parts. The only one I don't think you need is the box to put the "brain" into. The early ones have a space for the tool kit; the later ones did away with that space and the tool kits were put into the cowling behind the seat and the low seat would fit without changing the box. _________________ Ride Safe,
