I bought this sorry neglected non-running 42k 91 K75S back in December for a grand. Been working on it on and off since then. Level II service, fixed the leaky gas tank, replaced the faded forks and fork trees with some newer low mile Showas, Progressive shock, cruise control, XLO fog lights, LEDs, perforated stainless radiator and belly pan grills and a BUNCH of other crap done to it.

Finished yesterday but the streets were wet. Took it for a spin this morning. I'd forgotten how much I LOVE riding K75s! OMFG is it fun to ride!

Wow, nice.
Can I whine about not being able to do something like that.

Very nice, I'm curious about the belly pan though. Do you know if there's one like this for the K11?

Cheers.

Nice pics and another wonderful K bike. The K75S endears itself quickly for smoothness and light weight. Wonderful handling, too. I wonder how many K11OG members also have a K75 in the stable?

So when are you trying a Paralever on it? Would be interesting to see the longevity of the parts on the lighter/smoother load of of the 75...

(also remember something on a K75RS conversion someone did - think it was linked off an IBMWR page sometime; given they had a spare "drop on" fairing, but they were very happy with the KRS protection over the 75S).

Paralever: Been there, done that.

Right now I'm building a K75 with a K1100 front end to get better brakes. It will be naked for the summer but over the winter I have a K100RS fairing to install on it.
