Further to my recent odd hesitation / stuttering on sharp acceleration problem, i've refuelled again at the station I usually use but not managed more than about 30 miles before the weathers gotten more typically Scottish so unsure on the difference if any, i've added some redex injector cleaner too.

From there I've replaced the plugs with the new NGK's again, (not ridden since) and tightened them a little more than i'm normally happy with to be sure they're snug, (i stripped a thread out of a head some years ago and have been plug paranoid ever since and most likely don't tighten them enough).

Onto my actual question now I checked the resistance of the leads whilst I was changing the plugs, from the front of the engine, 1 - 3 read 6.2 set on the 200 k ohms setting, (or was it 20k, darn this getting old and memory thing, it was only a couple of days ago) on my meter, and 4 was about 6.38.
Is this about the right kind of area for the leads?

Sounds in the right area, doesn't seem much of a percentage different to matter. Seeing as the weather's gone Scots, I would remove the trim thingy, then run it in the dark, whilst watching for fireworks. I do realise this may be difficult living as you do, in the land of the midnight sun.

The midnight sun is not a problem, I can combat it with blanket.

The midnight midges however are a different matter altogether. Thanks for the info, incidentally have had a quick look for tracking from the leads and nothing evident, however it could be a different story when under load?

Check the wire connections at the fuel pump sender and the side stand switch plug (both under the right side cover) to make sure they're clean and tight. Check the battery groiund. Check where the plugs attach to the coils.

Year and mileage of your bike might also help.

Will check those, ta, HT leads to coils is nice and snug and they're clean.
Bike is a 95 K1100LT SE.
Fault is a recently occurring one just after replacing airfilter and plugs.

You fitted the NGK's with the little bobbins on the threaded ends did you?

Yes indeed, good firm push fit on the caps to the plugs.
