Anybody here ever used the Pyramid fork seals sold on Fleabay? Results?
My LT got infected after being too close to the Bugeye Motobrick a couple of weeks ago and now my right fork is peeing all over.
I bought a pair of the Pyramid ones last year just to have around but want to see what other people's experiences have been before installing them. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Do you have the fork boots covering things up?
Sorry to hear the Bug Eye gave you the drips.
Sorry, I did not try them. _________________ 1993 K1100RS that I'd rather be riding FAST!

Drake, don't waste your time or money on them. BTDT. didn't work for me.
They are not a direct drop fit, and only a single lip seal instead of the 2 lip seal of the bmw seals.
I have a 2nd set of them collecting dust as I'm not going to use them. _________________ Ride safe.

Thanks.
I thought someone had posted about them before but a search on Pyramid fork turned up nothing here. Funny thing though, I found your post on Ted's new test K11 forum when I Googled.
No fork boots on the LT. Since you have to drop the forks to install fork boots I figured that I'd just wait until a seal went to do it. I'm picking some boots up tomorrow.
There was a lot of crap on the road and it was sprinkling when I went riding with Johnny. I think that's what did it in.
I may just swap over the forks from the non-running 48k LT I've got. Those had boots (now a little old and cracked so not suitable for my LT) and the forks seem to be in pretty good shape. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
