Anything else out there besides PIAA?

I'll pay but I want to find out if there is something comparable to PIAA or is PIAA over priced like some people think our bikes are?

Looking for my 1996 K1100RS and I want to put them on the brake calipers if possible

Go to the tech section and check out CATZ lights.

Just awesome.

Get the ORANGE ones, oval ELXO shape.

The orange throws plenty of light at night and when mounted on the lower bolt which holds the fork reflector on gets you noiticed in traffic by the cagers.

I saw you asked about Mounts over on the MOA site - ping ToddLamp over there, he has some great fork/caliper mounts that might work.

Here is a write-up on the CATZ ELO lights. If you search this forum for "CATZ" you will find a lot of info including various part numbers, group buys, installation and wiring, etc.

pm me if you have questions.

Cheers,

The CATZ XSL lights come with a full wiring harness, on/off switch and relay, everything you might need for an install on a car. Some have used the included switch, others have used something else.

The light housings are phenolic resin and very light weight which makes them great for fork mounting, either on special mounts or using longer bolts for the fork reflectors ( aka Johnny Owstrich mount) or the stainless coupler nut and stud combo I made up.

Price is: One set of XSL lights with gold bulbs.......$46.67
One pair of spare amber bulbs...............$11.00
One pair of spare clear bulbs.................$33.00
Getlunch's SS coupling nut/stud combo...$12.00
Shipping CONUS is typically $13.00 dollars or less.

I will also add in for free a package each of POSI-TAP and POSI-LOCK connectors making the install even easier. (I have many many many having won a couple of case lots off of eBay with the intent of flipping them.)

I have the time to get these mailed out this week if you're interested otherwise it will be another week, maybe two, because of my schedule.

Cheers,
Rand
