I bet there were a few brown stains after this incident.
The tyres still look servicable, thats a surprise.
Any ideas of what actually went wrong ? _________________ ******************************

I wonder if cleaning it with petrol was a contributing factor? Plus of course some sort of ignition factor _________________ David, owner of:

I don't know what caused it. I was swapping some parts with a local guy and he told me he had a K75 that went up in flames when he was in Italy and when I got home he'd emailed me a few pics of it. If I had to guess I'd say it was the heated grips wiring thing since that's the only thing I've ever heard of that has torched a K. But you never know. Could've been another cause. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
