I am the 4th owner of a 95 K1100LT and the bike has a radio, but I do not have the unlock code. I have tried the local dealer, but they were unable to help. I tried BMW North America, and they could not get the code, but they gave the original dealer name in Florida and suggested I call them. They too were unable to help. I have read the forums and some people talked about BMW TECHNICAL. How do I get to them? I have a picture of the serial number here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian - welcome to K11!

Can't help you with the code issue - seems like the dealer should be able to.

Good luck with it - let us know when and how you resolve the problem.

Don't know if this guy can help you or not. http://forum.ecoustics.com/bbs/messages/4/174129.html

Try calling Max BMW here in New Hampshire and ask for Rusty. He got it for me when no one else could.

You can look on flea bay for a radio code breaker software which works wit Claion audio units, friend of mine purchased a disc to reset his stereo a couple of years ago.

I've tried a bunch of those code breakers. Never found one that worked for the BMW Clarions.

Thanks for welcoming me, and thanks for the tips. I searched the old threads a found an email for Rusty. Hopefully he will be willing and able to help me out. If he can't I will try that other site that was suggested.
Thanks,
Brian

Rusty was able to help me, he got me my code, and I hooked up the back speakers and everything worked. I put one of the tape adapters in and hooked up my iPod and it worked great. THANKS
