|
|
Hello, just a quick question :
The rubber seal that goes on the instrument cluster back,(I've just replaced the bulbs) is kinda rectangular in cross section,
I'm presuming it goes with its widest section sandwiched between the joining parts (As opposed to on its thin edge.)
Answers please asap as it's my next task & the manual is extremely vague.
btw the seal is still supple & in very good condition. _________________ "A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing." |

Hi There.
Yes the seal does go on with the widest section flat. It can be a bit fiddely as it tends to spring up when you stretch it round the instrument cluster. You will see what I mean when you try it.
Cheers.

Rich. | Thanks Rich,
& yes I do know what you mean as I've already fitted it that way,
but I was waiting for conformation before tightening the screws down.
Thanks again, I can now crack on.....just hope the bl00dy rain would stop ! _________________ "A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing." |
