Has anyone got a Remus pipe fitted or had a K with one, are they good, solid, well built?
I'm not after stonking performance gains, the K's plenty good enough as is but have a suspect blowing exhaust and i'm wondering if this has any relation to the stuttering prob i've been experiencing, theres been a 'blowing type sound' for a while but I wondered how much of this was the 'somethings not right so i'm hearing noises' sydrome.

Anyhow, seeing the distinct lack of OE decent systems I thought one of the above might be worth a shot.

The "cat's meow"! I put one a couple years ago and fits well. Easy install. I put it on a 1996 K1100RS. One thing I would not do is go with the chrome. Too much work to keep it shiny. Smile

Can't say enough good about it. Noticeable HP increase, nice throaty growl and looks badass.

all of which may describe the bike, but none of which necessarily affect an objective assessment of the rider--unless "posing" counts. Twisted Evil

Remus - when nothing else will do.

I've had one on the bike for about 8 years. I have no idea now if I got the Sport or Street version - it has a titanium can. It's OK - it is a bit louder than stock, although Hans or whatever his name is says "it's not louder, it's chust deeper". If I have the Sport version, I kind of wish I had the Street version.

OK, One Remus system with alloy can should be here in the next few days, all we need then is a bit of dry chuffing weather., and some cursing, WD, replacement studs and nuts and gaskets Smile

Thanks for the mention Dwerbil but the shipping alone not to mention import duties would probably mean buying a new one would be cheaper.
