1994 48k K1100LT in nice shape. Never crashed, never dropped. The wiring harness is fried and I was going to try to fix it but changed my mind and decided to part it out. Color is silk blue.

Would potentially have been interested in the exhaust but I'd guess shipping to Scotland would be prohibitive Smile

How much of a pain are badly corroded exhaust studs to remove on the K1100's BTW?

Leave it parked out in the street overnight, they'll be gone by the morning

You're much better off just buying new ones,

I've not been able to find a dealer that could provide me with a proper body nut for the right side knee panel. Would you have one Question

Not bad at all if you can get hold of a can pf "PB Blaster"

If you can't find any of that, try a very carefully aimed propane torch, heat each bolt individually and watch the flame, you wouldn't want to start a fire (unless you break one of those exhaust studs Laughing )

i haven't even looked at what they cost yet. i know the hood roundel on my car costs $44+ and that i then need to get 2 grommets for it. it was worth a shot ...

what about bags? these are color matched blue aren't they?

OH. are the kick stand pivot bolt, bushing, and arm in good shape?

Don't know if we can get that in the UK?
However i plan on drowning the lot in WD for a couple of days beforehand and the studs will have to come out to be replaced anyway, the lot is corroded to extremes, there are no Nut flats to speak of.
We'll see how it goes I guess, annoying that the design exposes the studs to all the elements, (the elements in the UK aren't nice either, especially all the salt they hurl everywhere in winter)

70 mm tank roundels are about $13 each. 46637686746 They're just flat aluminum. The 70 mm car hood emblems are about $30 ($25 from Chicago BMW) but they're "3-D" with a raised chome rim and convex. That's what I put on my K1100s because they look nicer.

Yep, the hard cases are silk blue.

Kickstand is good.

The red rear right reflector fell off the back fender awhile back.
I'd like to buy it from you.

Hey Drake,

I need the the rain tubes that come down from behind the windshield mount and drains water away from the inside of the fairing. The two tubes that look like they are wire protectors.

Do you have those?

Thanks,

And new they only cost a few bucks each so if you're near a dealer you'd be better off buying new ones.

Would the rear shock absorber / coil spring be the same for my K1100RS? Smile

Yes, same shock was used on K100RS4V, K1100RS and K1100LT.
