Anyone else had their horns fail on a K11? Mine were intermittently working, and have now failed completely.
The fuse is OK, and when I press the horn button, the relay doesn't click. When I release the button, the relay makes a click.

I've tried swapping relays around, and one of the relays I tried appeared to be the right type, as I heard the same click when releasing the horn button.

Any suggestions as to which wires to check under the tank, and how to get the horns off for inspection?

The first thing I'd do is pull the non-brown wire from each horn and test it with a voltmeter. That will tell you if it's the horns or a wiring issue.

How do I get at the horns? I'm guessing the fairing needs to be at least partially dismantled?

I've pulled the temperature gauge and can now get at the RH horn. Applying a live feed makes the horn work, so it looks like a wiring issue. Still can't find the green/grey wire from the relay to the horns.

My horn were a little"reluctant" to work when I first got my bike a couple of months ago, intermittently failing to sound.I tried some switch cleaner ( did not dismantle, just sprayed it into the switch housing)and followed with some WD40 and it now seems to work fine. Question

That's the first thing I tried, but I can hear the relay clicking when I release the horn button, which suggests the switch is doing it's job.

Swapped the relays around - now the horns are working.
