Saw this on another forum - have no experience with the seller but thought it was a good price:
http://www.lmrbatteries.com/odyssey_PC680.html

$120 with free UPS shipping isn't too bad.

What do you mean? The PC680 is fine for K75s.

Yeah, they do list the 925 in their app. guide. The PC680 is more than adequate for a K.

Hi, Ted,
Any battery which will fit in any K1100 will work in the K75. The converse is not true. The '94-'97 K1100's require the smaller 19AH battery because the ABSII takes up space used earlier as battery storage. The earlier K1100 (and all the K75) bikes have the space for the 25AH batteries used earlier in the airheads.

I think the 925 is just additional weight on the bike (and money for Odyssey.)

Hah, Phil is right one - the 925 is a 28Ah battery and the 680 is 17Ah. Interestingly enough, the batteries look quite different with the 925L (supposedly for all ABS1) having the posts on the side?!?

Think of just how much longer with the 925L a K75 would crank with a welded starter relay Wink

Thanks guys, just this weekend the battery went south.

It was a five year old Yuasa and I knew it's days were numbered. Last weekend it seemed a bit sluggish when starting on a chilly morning. Then this morning it went ww-waa----waa------waaa--------and was done.

It always lives on the Battery Tender so I knew it has been fully charged, it just can't carry a charge anymore.

New Odyssey on order.....$104.75 incl. shipping!

That's a killer price. I bought mine 6 years ago for $98 and it is still going strong. If anyone is thinking about getting another battery you can't get a more dependable one for the price than this.

I have no affiliation with Odyssey and get no kickbacks(darn it) from them.
