Got up early to clear a spot in the garage...
The truck, (Allied shipping), arrived around 9am...
After taking her off the pallet, she was unloaded...
Everything appears to be intact...
Off to the garage...
Right at home with the rest of the girls...
And now for a little preventive maintenance...
She is a '95 with 28K miles...got some scars and needs a little loving, but I think we are going to get along famously...

Niiice! And a well documented delivery, may I say...
Is that a standard height Aeroflow screen? I've been thinking in getting one myself. Please put some more photos of your K with the screen on. There aren't a lot around, and I think it's useful.
Your "red" won't feel alone in the garage. She's in good company with those classics. Good work! _________________ Carlos

You were able to keep yourself from starting it? There's no way I could resist.
Glad to hear it arrived safely. Looks like you've got all of the right stuff to give it a once over. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

How are the tires? You should take it for a spin. You need to do that anyhow to heat up/mix the motor and gear oils prior to changing.
At least you got a red one. They're faster you know. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I know about red...my 1100E is also red...
Michelin tires...front is OK, date code from '08...but kinda flat in the center...
I think the PO never tried to actual lean...
The rear is date coded from '02, so that is no good...
Got a good friend with a tire change set up...I'll be ordering new tires over the winter for next season...
And yes...I'll be going to the DMV tomorrow and getting my plates, then I will take her out for a test spin and warm up the oils for the changes....
I've got Thursday and Friday off work so I can get this done....

Thanks....I really don't know if this is the "standard" height screen...I didn't even know there was more than one....
I'm a little new to the whole K thing... _________________ Bob T.

Cool Bob!
Welcome to K11OG.
That's a good looking bike. _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Looks just like the standard Aeroflow I had on my K11RS - don't park it facing away from any wind without removing the screen and strapping it across the seat (lesson learned on top of Mt. Washington ) _________________

Insured and plated...
Now if these 50+ mph winds would stop, I might get to go for a test ride... _________________ Bob T.
