What is so funny to me, is that the same people which backed the creation of the TSA and the Dept. of Homeland security are now the ones so upset about the loss of freedoms. The Patriot Act was a thinly disguised set of Laws which bypass or ignore the Bill of Rights and the rest of the Constitution. But it was created by a conservative Congress with a Conservative President, so it was OK, it was for "protection of the country and her citizens". Now we have a liberal president and the TSA has become an evil arm of him. B. S.

The TSA has not changed, and will not changed until it gets dismantled and replaced by a different organization. You got what you wanted, now you have to live with it. Maybe next time you will think more about the destruction of rights before you do it, but probably not.

It's a given I can't control all the people on a plane, I'm OK with the scan or a pat down.

I've been patted down by uglier & rougher people.
I've been scanned and prodded in the name of medical science at teaching hospitals. Whooo boy arn't those colonoscopy's fun!

If it takes a bit of humility to keep the flight I'm on safe, I'm cool with that.

If you are NOT cool with that, I also understand. Please take the train.

Anytime you start messing with the constitutional protections you are messing on dangerous ground. I am more concerned about internet and email monitoring than I am about pat downs on airplanes. If you don't like the pat downs, don't fly. Next time I fly I hope they got some pretty women doing the pat downs.

Agreed, it's a slippery slope on our rights. Darn hard to compromise, but it's a trade off.

Sorry, no pretty women doing those pat downs. I don't care to generalize about the TSA agents, I just know I've never had any pretty women pat me down, and I've been on the " No Fly " list. Till that was cleared up, I got my own special room and the undivided attention of TWO agents. No cavity search though, just plenty of questions. They really really hate it when you count to 30 before answering each question.
Patience is key to many things.
