I assume you mean to get rid of crystallised brake fluid? I use boiling water then literally "wash them up". Apparently an overnight soak in cola does the trick too. Don't use anything caustic whatever you do, it will eat the ally and game over. _________________ Bikes:

Don't use anything petroleum based or you risk damaging the rubber parts.
